Buying Quality Mens Jeans

March 19, 2007 (Comments)

Karl, Eindhoven, Netherland asks
Question: I’m in need of help with buying some quality jeans. I never was spending much on clothes and this is the first time I’d like to buy some $150 jeans so I’d like to pick the best for my money.

Answer:

We won’t try to lecture you how much you should be spending on clothes, or particularly for a pair of jeans. After all, that’s your money. What we will do is try to convince you pick one we considere a great pair of jeans.

The most expensive pair of jeans in your life should have to be blue dark wash jeans. They could have some fading but it must be more subtle than wild. In-worn look is there just to add a dash of character to otherwise monotone jeans. Next thing to aknowledge is that they must be a clean cut. Best picks are straight-leg, or slightly relaxed fits. In addition to rule that says that jeans should not be too short, or too long, the jeans also should not be tight, or loose. The best jeans are slim-fit, but not tight. Jeans that fit just right and show off your great legs:) in stylish manner.

In this answer we probably aren’t describing the most fashionable jeans of the moment. The jeans we are describing are those that last in quality and trendiness. We believe that best look is always the one that reclines on tradition and accepts contemporary. Also, it won’t go out of style next season.

Don’t ever go for brands that you’ve never heard of before but are hot right now. Even though there are exceptions to this rule since everybody must start with making clothes at one point, it usually is a good one. As some of the best picks for the price you underlined we suggest newer line of Hugo Boss, or Helmut Lang. If you want something more trendier go for A.P.C. (www.apc.fr). Also, almost all denim lines of Italian designers have models that would suit our description.
