Trend Watch: Novelty Underwear
Have you always had a penchant for novelty underwear but you can’t find the right kind, or are you just sick of the basics? All of that is going to change with the newest onset of novelty underwear in cowboy prints, super graphics, and all-over printed designs.
In 2006, the sale of white underwear actually dipped below 50%—which means that if you still stick to neutrals, it might be time to branch out. Even those of us who love basic black or navy (like me!) are allowed to get things more interesting since there’s really something for everyone with novelty jockey shorts, boxers, and briefs this year.
Go to InternationalJock.com to find the right bright novelty underwear. Still don’t go too crazy with your choices to keep it on the tasty side. They don’t need to be huge patterns and loud colors—although there is plenty of that, too—so look for shorts in solid, unusual colors and smaller, toned down printed check or stripes.

My favorite picks of novelty underwear from Internationaljock.com? C-IN2 Black Wacky Blocks Army Trunk are a statement without being silly. Modern print is very interesting in hues from white to black, as are a pair of aussieBum Boxer Shorts. You’ll be surprised at what works for you, and you’ll be secretly trendy underneath your pants.
