Looking for the perfect men’s fragrance? Options are getting exciting during summer 2007. Due to wildly varied demands for new men’s fragrances such as citrus and food-and-spice inspired notes, it’s even easier to find what you want, and fast.
It’s not just newly-released men’s fragrances that are getting the attention this year. Even men’s fragrances that have been around for a while are getting a facelift. Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Unforgivable fragrance for men, which was released in 2006, has been redesigned with a new luxury focus. The new fragrance, Unforgivable Multi Platinum, is a surprisingly soft blend of bergamot and iris. Just as Sean “Diddy” Combs has expanded beyond expectations and has developed a high scale fragrance, other companies are working on their own fragrance surprise.
Here’s a few hints on what’s up for new men’s fragrance this year:
Jacomo for Men 2007
Jacomo for Men has a new release planned for 2007. Following in Jacomo for Her’s footsteps, this fresh men’s scent has been marketed towards men 30 years of age or older, who enjoy “woody oriental constructed around the vetiver note.” It sounds almost tasty: Jacomo for Men is designed by Mathilde Bijaoui and combines pineapple, plum, pimento, cedar, nutmeg, coffee, tonka beans and amber.
David Beckham Intense Instinct
David’s giving us at least a hint of how he stays sexy—a fresh combination of melon, lemon and ginger gets you feeling energetic and (almost) as sexy as Beckham. Intense Instinct has already been made available in the United Kingdom and Romania, and we’ll be seeing Intense in the United States in May.
Frederic Malle French Lover
A perfect choice for men come May, the French Lover perfume by Frederick Malle is certainly complex. Try Pierra Burdon’s fragrance natural elements such as frankincense angelica, cedar, and iris, as well as “ ‘a kind of plant-based animal quality that immediately evoked the smell of a man,’ ” stated fragrance source Osmoz.com.
Sean Jean Unforgivable (Men and Woman)
Get the newest Sean John Fragrance for her while still treating yourself to the 2005 men’s version. The new blend features an interestingly rich combination of orange, cassis, grapefruit, violet, amber, vanilla tears, cedar, and pina colada—among many others—to create a sophisticated, unique blend that’s unlike any other. Unforgivable Woman is slated for release next year, so while you wait to give that gift, write a shopping reminder in your journal so you can get it later. It may take a while, but it’ll be worth it.
