• From the library, we also highly recommend this article from Esquire September 1960.
• Madder neckties have that smack of antique Englishness. This forum recommends Drakes or Budd.
• And here’s the Drakes site in question. There’s quite a range of colours.
• Over on Style Forum, a request for information on ascots receives mixed responses.
• The best recommendation they come up with is Beau Ties, though.
