Links: Sheepsking, Madder and Wearing Car Parts

By staff
November 10, 2008

• Workwear seems to feature in almost every style spread this season, and wool linings in particular. D&D has some vintage commentary.

• Talking of vintage, Gerald Murphy was very particular type of dandy. But then, if you will wear car parts.

• From the library, we also highly recommend this article from Esquire September 1960.

• Madder neckties have that smack of antique Englishness. This forum recommends Drakes or Budd.

• And here’s the Drakes site in question. There’s quite a range of colours.

• Over on Style Forum, a request for information on ascots receives mixed responses.

• The best recommendation they come up with is Beau Ties, though.
