Summer Jackets Picks
We’ll showcase few summer jackets that might be perfect to keep you dry with style during this flash floods season. Rain gear doesn’t have to bring back to memory a connotation of heavy rubber raincoats that leave you dripping in sweat. We’ve also included some great jackets that are just nice to have in your collection; whether or not they keep you dry - depends on how long you plan on staying in the rain.
New Wave Nylon Jacket by Marc by Marc Jacobs. This classic number features the best in military styling with a hint of street cred through an attached hoodie that isn’t necessarily waterproof, but water resistant, with a touch of nylon in an ordinary cotton jacket. It still includes a traditional collar, and elasticized cuffs, to ensure proper fit so it just doesn’t hang from your wrists.

Men’s ‘Jimmy’ Western Jacket - Medium Vintage. This is a classic denim number with all of the quality and ruggedness you’ve come to expect from True Religion.

Sunrise Hike Track Jacket. This is one of the more conservative LRG numbers we’ve found. It is one of the better examples of how classic eighties fashion can be reworked for the new millennium. The front blends from white to rustic red, evenly, while the back has a classic silhouette of men hiking in brown.

This Calvin Klein Short Jacket offers the best of Calvin Klein’s classic minimalist approach in a nice color that will turn heads everywhere. The nylon/polyester/cotton mix is machine washable and will help keep you dry while still allowing you to breathe.

Finally, you may want to consider this Tommy Hilfiger Wilson Surplus Crest Jacket; great style with military flair, plus it’s great for those casual Fridays when you want to wear a sport coat, but you do not really want to feel as though you’ve dressed up. There’s also nothing better than making a fashion statement, without having to take your coat off once you’re indoors.
Just a few suggestions as to how you can cope with those cold summer nights, or those flash floods. You can still look great without missing a step.
